Workers' Compensation

We focus on returning patients to their previous work activities.  Our staff and Physical Therapists work closely with physicians, insurance companies, referring case workers, and attorneys to develop a plan of care to work effectively in achieving maximum recovery. Test results, which include a data report, summary and recommendations, are always provided in a timely manner. Plus, we accept and file most insurance, including workers compensation, so your employee can concentrate on his or her recovery.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)

This comprehensive computerized testing method accurately and objectively measure your employee's ability to perform his or her job. FCEs include static and dynamic lifting tasks, muscular strength and range-of-motion measurements, cardiovascular endurance exercises, material handling exercises, assessment of work abilities, individual joint testing and simulation tasks.

Work Conditioning/Hardening

This process ensures that employees properly rehabilitate injuries to prevent re-injury in the future. Our work conditioning/hardening programs are individually customized and designed to increase strength endurance levels and safe work techniques through strengthening, conditioning and work simulation tasks.

Industrial Injury Prevention Program

Our Physical Therapy staff performs this powerful industrial injury prevention program at your place of business, educating employees on the proper execution of physical tasks, so they can avoid painful back injuries and you can avoid costly workers' compensation claims. As with our other services, this course can be customized to your company's unique requirements. We use a customized, interactive program designed to get the greatest participation and the best effects.

Ergonomic Workplace Assessment

Our staff will perform ergonomic assessments at your place of business exposing potential workplace/office dangers. This assessment suggests corrective actions to the employee based on the orientation of their work space and tasks. This includes:

  • Computer, Lifting, Standing, Pushing, Pulling, etc.
• Desk/Seat Adjustment
• Postural Education
• Workplace Layout

Post Offer/Pre Hire Screens (POPHS)
