"Unbeknownst to me, my journey to become a physical therapist began in my youth. Being a part of an athletic family, I have witnessed my siblings attend treatment sessions and have received treatment from physios and chiros myself with my many injuries as a soccer player both as a child and collegiately. I was truly mesmerized by the ability of these professionals to not just heal people through movement, clinical insight and manual treatment, but also mentally and emotionally through the development of meaningful therapeutic relationships."
"It was only until after obtaining my bachelor's degree in Biology from Adelphi University, with the goal of going to dental school, that I realized that being a physical therapist is how I truly wanted to affect the world. This brought me from my home, Toronto, Canada, to Buffalo, NY where I obtained my doctorate in physical therapy degree from Daemen University." "My ultimate goal as a physical therapist is to provide people with the positive experiences that I have been so lucky to receive throughout my life both physically and holistically by facilitating self-efficacy in members of the community to be active participants in achieving their own health-related goals through education, compassion and empowerment." "I have strong interests in anatomy & physiology, orthopedics, neurology, and pain sciences that will enable me to treat a wide variety of conditions. It is my hope to continue to grow both professionally and personally as a physical therapist in order to be a catalyst towards peoples' rehabilitative success!"
