"My journey to becoming a Physical Therapist began in high school when I noticed my interest in the anatomy and physiology of the human body. That interest combined with my participation in sports during high school began my interest in Exercise Science and how the musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and even the brain responds to physical activity. This brought me to Omaha, Nebraska where I majored in Exercise Science and fully realized my love for biomechanics, exercise, and the amazing potential of the human body. Nothing called to me more than becoming a Physical Therapist where I could strive to help individuals regain their mobility, strength, and work with them to achieve their goals. This goal kept me at Creighton University where I graduated with my doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since then I have continued my interest in sports, biomechanics, and exercise but have also developed an appreciation for the complex nature of pain and how the neuroscience of pain plays a role in everyone’s life. As I continue my career as a Physical Therapist, I hope to always grow, learn, and build strong relationships with my patients."
