"We do not fail. We learn and grow through overcoming challenge and resistance."
“I originally began my college career as a business major, but I was never truly happy. After doing some research I stumbled onto kinesiology, and I never looked back. I enjoyed training and learning about the rationale for using various exercises, and wondered if there was any way I could use that knowledge to improve human performance while preventing injuries. I knew I found my calling when I started working as a technician in a sports clinic. Having the opportunity to see and help different athletes return to playing was so rewarding, learning from each patient interaction was even better. Practicing as a physical therapist is a privilege and the clinic is my second home. I enjoy researching different exercises, lifts, programming strategies and figuring out what unique combination will benefit each individual. I love helping people learn how take control of their pain , realize that movement and exercise is medicine, and change their perception of what physical therapy is and can be. I always tell patients, ‘there’s life beyond the table. We just have to get you back in fighting condition.’ I hope my patients learn there’s nothing wrong with getting strong, whether you’re a weekend warrior, dancer, runner, play school or club sports, or jus t trying to get dressed without nagging back pain.  More importantly, I hope my patients know that I learn from them as much as they do from me.”
