" After getting my initial bachelor’s degree in hotel administration and working in the field for five years, I decided that I wanted to make the change in to healthcare. I had only recently become interested in physical therapy after having a series of visits to one following a rugby injury. I decided to look into the physical therapy field and what a physical therapist did, and was sold. I like how the therapist worked closely with me and helped me to realize the small progressions I was making with my movement, strength, and ability. Sure, I was sore after some sessions, but I knew that I had worked hard and was able to move better. I wanted to be able to do what the therapist did for me- I wanted to help other people realize their goals, improve movement following injury, improve strength and improve their overall health and fitness.
